I read this book 2 years ago and I learnt so much. There are 10 great lessons in the book that should inspire you to think about m o n e y in a new light.
Hopefully it will get you on track to doing some things very differently.

I really loved chapter 4 called "Guard Thy Treasures from Loss" where the main character buys gems from a crooked dealer and loses all his m o n e y. That story really rings true for so many of us, where we get fooled in to following the wrong people in life.

Listen, I know that you followed me and some of the deals we got in to were bogus, I know we lost c a s h, but lie is about lessons. It's what we do with the lemons that count.

True entrepreneurship is when you get knocked down in the ring and you get back up again. It's not about the amount of times you get knocked down, it's all about the amount of times you get backup.

MY MENTOR TOLD ME THAT THE BIGGEST RISK IN LIFE IS NOT TAKING RISK! There is risk in everything we do. It's all about risk management. crossing the road is risky, but we don't cross when there is traffic flying at 120kms. We cross when the cars are at a safe distance and when I can pretty much safely say that's called good risk management. . That's called good risk management.

Some us of got in to some pretty shady s h i t over the last couple of years, I hope we went in to the deals with our eyes wide open and did our own due diligence? Some us us just blindly followed others based on income disclosures rather than investigating where the m o n e y comes from and how the m o ne y is made. That is called bad risk management. Relax, I did the same thing. Followed some really crap deals, lost a s h i t load of c a s h. We all lost c a s h!!! It's such a difficult lesson to learn & I for me the greatest lesson is taking responsibility for my losses & not blaming others. It was my choice to invest. My choice to investigate and do due diligence or not to do it. Can't blame anyone but me. Tough lessons, Expensive T-shirt to put in the cupboard.
