Draw-Down Explained
How to work out your Draw-Down DD.
Take your open trades and divide by your capital then x by 100 to get to a % of open trades to capital invested.
Example
Take your open trades and divide by your capital then x by 100 to get to a % of open trades to capital invested.
Example
Capital = $1000
Open trades = $15
DD = 15 / 1000 x 100
DD = 1.5%
This means that 1.5% of your capital is being used in trading. Or 1.5 % of the $1000 is being used in trading.
This means that 1.5% of your capital is being used in trading. Or 1.5 % of the $1000 is being used in trading.
No more than 1% on a slow day should be utilised during non volatile trading.
If you have more than 2% you have over-leveraged your account and may run in to problems. You run the risk of blowing your account, which means you could lose all your capital. the Bot takes 2-3 days to kick in, so before adding currencies or increasing the lot size wait for 2-3 days then check your DD.

Lot Sizes & Currencies to Trade
This is your bot and you can trade whatever currencies you like.
My engineers recommend you trade these currencies & use these lot sizes shown on the right
You are welcome to try other currencies or add currencies but we recommend you stick to the total lot size recommendation in the calculator above. Warning | Trading other currencies may lead to losing all your capital
The Picture to the right shows you the pip range that currencies move daily.
The more pips movement there is in a day the higher the volatility. The more volatility there is the more profit you will make or could lose!
This is your bot and your capital, so trade carefully and wisely. Some of the pairs where there is lots of pip movement are not recommended by the bot engineers. So start small and check the drawdown. Then you can make a decision. If you leverage too much you WILL blow your capital.

GBP/AUD has proven to yield quite good results. But start with a small lot size of 0.1 on Cent account.
Any currency that has more than 150 pips per day movement could be good setups. Also check what pairs move together so you do not over leverage.
The below pics are there to for information purposes only so you can see what currencies move together & which currencies affect other currencies.
Make sure you fully understand the risks involved & are 100% comfortable losing your investment whether you over-leverage or not. Even if you do not over-leverage there is a chance you can lose all your money. This is a bot and it can fail.

How To Calculate The Value of A PIP
Here is the lot size calculation
Formula is: (close - open) * contract size * volume * convert rate
Here's an example:
EURUSD
close 1.15200
open 1.15000
contract_size 100 000
volume 1 lot
account in USD (or USD cents)
USD is quote currency here, so convert rate = 1
(1.15200 - 1.15000) * 100 000 * 1 = 0.00200 * 100 000 = 200 (USD/USD cent). So, profit is 200 * 1 = 200 (USD/or USD cent)
USDJPY
close 113.200
open 113.000
contract_size 100 000
volume 1 lot
account in USD (or USD cents)
JPY is quote currency, convert rate = 1/113 (for this example, depends on open price)
(113.200-113.000) * 100 000 * 1 = 0.2 * 100 000 = 20 000 (JPY/or JPY cent)
So, profit is 20 000 / 113 = 176.99 (USD/or USD cent)
Formula is: (close - open) * contract size * volume * convert rate
Here's an example:
EURUSD
close 1.15200
open 1.15000
contract_size 100 000
volume 1 lot
account in USD (or USD cents)
USD is quote currency here, so convert rate = 1
(1.15200 - 1.15000) * 100 000 * 1 = 0.00200 * 100 000 = 200 (USD/USD cent). So, profit is 200 * 1 = 200 (USD/or USD cent)
USDJPY
close 113.200
open 113.000
contract_size 100 000
volume 1 lot
account in USD (or USD cents)
JPY is quote currency, convert rate = 1/113 (for this example, depends on open price)
(113.200-113.000) * 100 000 * 1 = 0.2 * 100 000 = 20 000 (JPY/or JPY cent)
So, profit is 20 000 / 113 = 176.99 (USD/or USD cent)
